    Default Reducing Video Clip Size?

I was wondering how can I reduce '.video clip' from being over 2GB in size so I can send 4 videos compressed into a .rar file in megaupload? Is there a way to cut the videos length to reduce the size without compromising the quality?
I took the video from using Xfire program.

Xfire converts to .mp4 which is tons better than raw .avi format.
navigate to your xfire folder (c/programfiles(86)/xfire/ and find xfencoder
Double click, select the file you want to convert, and select a dstination.
XFENCODER is a really nice and fast encoder to mp4, but it will tie up a low end machine.

    I forgot to ad.
If your video isnt in dimensions divisable by two, performance suffers..
You can use windows movie maker to cut out bits and pieces.
Also, if the original video skips, it will reflect the skip in mp4.

and as to how much a video is compressed with mp4, or w/e depends on the mvoie.
how much audio, frame changes, etc.

    In short: no.

The best you can do is reduce the refresh and video resolution. Trimming a video down to 640x480 (or something like that) would greatly reduce the size of your overall file size. The only down side would be if you tried to play the media on a larger screen with higher resolution, the picture will be choppy and pixelated. What are you (or whomever) going to view the media on?

Also, .rar compression is good for pictures and even better for text files, but with media like music and videos it's very lacking. I better compression for your video file would be an .iso or the like. After wards, if you wanted to compress and chunk in into several rar's (that you can upload individually to bypass the megaupload cap) you still can. Kind of a hassle for all of that...

Why don't you just create a VPN between you and the other person and send it over that? or create a .torrent and upload it to a public tracker for them. =P
